I was excited to try this app but as soon as I open it crashes and closes. I sent an email about app not working and got no reply. Wish I didnt waste my money on an app that doesnt work.

Ive been a DAB listener off and on for years in the podcast format. The readers voice is pleasant and gives small insight to the readings each day. The app is well designed. Easy to use, but one small thing can make it better for those who follow along. Please post the daily readings in the description for the day (for both podcast and app). It used to be that way and I miss it a lot. It would help people like me that are on the road and need a quick reference to where I left off. Keep up the fantastic mission of reading the Word!

Id prefer to just hear the bible and skip the commentary. I like that he reads from various translations. It would be nice if you could choose which one. Overall a great deal for a buck. Update... Changed my review. This is a blog about someones personal life with the bible reading thrown in. Its hard to fast forward without skipping some of the daily reading. Do not buy. Just pick up an audio bible and play a playlist on repeat for your morning / evening commute.

For a majority of my life Ive failed at reading the Bible consistently. With the DAB I found a community and great way to absorb the scriptures.

Like the app, use it almost every day. Travel a lot so would be helpful if the text versions could be downloaded for offline use.

A very good app mainly because of the content. Brain has an amazing reading voice and deep insight into the word of God. The way that he blends sound with words allows you to be able to listen without being distracted, holding your interest on the words being said. The only thing I would change in the app is how many times you have to tell it he would like to listen to something. But of the mad its a very seamless well worked app anyone would enjoy.

Its so hard for me to make myself read the Bible, thats why I love the Daily Audio Bible. He makes reading the Bible in a year easy and fun to do. His voice is soothing and youre joined with a beautiful community that prays over each other. Its truly one of a kind.

Original Review: I have to say that Ive tried over and over again to read the bible, never knowing where to start, and just having a hard time understanding it too. This app has truly been a godsend!! I listen everyday! Brian reads four different sections of the bible, (takes about 20-25 minutes), He then explains what we just read and how it pertains to our life today!! He also lets listeners call in Prayer request. Weve all become a Family. By the way, you can find most of us on Facebook at DAB Friends. Come join us. Podcast access along with a direct connection to the Bible verses in question. Simple to use. Well worth the price.

So happy to find this app. This app is such a blessing. If you desire the living word each and everyday, this app is for you. It doesnt matter where you are in your walk with God. There are so many resources to help you and reading through the entire Bible in a year is only the start.

This "podcast" is more than just a reading of the Bible. It is a journey...an adventure with a knowledgeable guide. And every year the adventure resets and Ive noticed new and exciting aspects that I didnt see the last time through. Everyday I grow a little more.
